This stainless steel adapter converts the flue opening from 2.5″ to standard 3″ Z-Vent venting.
Z-Vent products are designed for use with boilers, water heaters, high efficiency furnaces and other heating appliances that have cool flue gases vented under pressure.
Note that it may be necessary to purchase a straight pipe piece with backflow preventer to ensure that freezing air does not come back through the vent pipe.
